This amp is designed to shorten the signal path from the input jack to output transformer, hence no long wires running across chassis, no PCB or turret board. Just components connected altogether in a simple and logical layout: input jack is just next to first tube, gain and tone controls right next to second tube, volume knob next to power tubes. Of course, rectifier tube is right next to power switch. Power supply capacitors are located right where they are needed - at corresponding stages of an amplifier. As a result - amazingly compact and clean layout of a powerful and loud full tube amp, which goes from full-bodied and chimey cleans to roaring overdrive with a twist of knob.
